Big-Eyed Woman In The River
Here is a watercolor of mine entitled "Fungus Can Be Quite Slippery You Know."
There is a figurative and literal play between the naturalistic and the abstract; when juxtaposed, the duo can be off-putting, yet becomes more acceptable the longer it is viewed. The black and white figure of a small girl in the river is one of my ancestors on my mother's side.
